Found broken plastic children’s chairs, repeatedly repaired using low-tech methods and ordinary household materials.
Installation of twelve chairs, presented during Dutch Design Week 2025.
Year: 2025 Material: A mix of found, domestic and industrial materials including tape, elastic bands, cable ties, polymer clay, children’s clay, plaster, wool and cotton thread, iron wire, metal plates, screws and bolts, wood, branches, bubble wrap and rat mash.

Happy World of Dicks consists of hand-made, brightly colored clay phalluses arranged in playful groupings. At first glance, they appear humorous and harmless — almost cute.
The work uses absurdity and repetition to expose how power, masculinity, and dominance are normalized, trivialized, and reproduced. By exaggerating and softening the symbol, the series invites laughter while quietly undermining its authority.
